Here we go - the final results of the Harry Potter Fandom Awards 2011! Some are what you may expect, but others are a little surprising. The project began about an hour before the final Harry Potter film was released in the UK, and now it's ending on the 1st September - the same day, 20 years ago, when Harry and his future friends boarded the Hogwarts Express! So, the results are:

Thank you to everyone who nominated and voted, as you are the people who made the awards what they are! I hope you enjoyed them. The nomination period has now ended, and the voting is about to begin! However, there have been a few changes from the original categories due to a lack of nominations. The 'Best Fan Artist' and 'Best Fan Fiction' awards have been removed from the list, but don't worry - there are still ten more categories in which to vote! Yeah, I'm not so great at speaking, so here are the details:
A new project is starting at The Time Turner. I wanted Harry Potter fans to come together to vote for the best parts of each aspect of the fandom, from Wizard Rock to fan art and from Starkid to fanfic. To get involved, all you have to do is start nominating at The Time Turner forums. The nomination period ends on the 25th July 2011 at 11:59PM BST and a video will be uploaded when voting begins.
