Dear Mr Potter...
You may have heard about a website called Dear Mr. Potter, which has now been around for about nine months. It's a website in blog format, which posts a couple of times per day with stories of Harry Potter fans about their time as a fan of the series. A book compiling some of these stories will be on sale shortly, and the cover was released earlier today. It's a great project, and all proceeds from the book sales will be donated to the Harry Potter Alliance to further youth literacy. It will be available to pre-order online soon.

Starship Release Date
That's right! The Starkids (creators of A Very Potter Musical and Sequel) have finally released the premiere date for their fourth original musical, entitled 'Starship'. The musical is set on a distant planet, home to bugs. The main character, aptly named 'Bug', dreams of being a Starship Ranger... So far we've only seen clips and read hints, but the musical will be officially released on YouTube on the 30th April! To watch the announcement of the release date, visit Team Starkid's YouTube channel. So, mark the date on your calendars because Starship will be one to remember!

Accio Books Campaign
The Harry Potter Alliance is a Harry Potter-themed charity that has donated to many wonnderful causes throughout the years, including the Haiti earthquake appeal. They have resurrected the 'Accio Books' campaign again this year to provide books to those without access to literature, in order to fight the problem of illiteracy. If you haven't already signed up to become a member of the HPA, you definitely should, and everyone should try to donate at least one book to the Accio Books campaign. What's more, the Gryffindor who donates the most books will receive two free tickets to LeakyCon, an amazing Harry Potter conference taking place in Orlando, Florida this July! If that's not an incentive, I don't know what is! Also, the Hufflepuff who donates the most books will receive a voicemail from John Green, author, and one of the vlogbrothers. So, please donate to this excellent cause, tell all your friends, and don't forget, to quote the HPA - the weapon we have is love!

Starkid Website Launch
After waiting for a few weeks now, we Starkids finally have a brand new website to visit! The Starkid tech department have launched a beautiful new website, complete with FAQ, new store links and an interesting-looking Starship DVD button. For anyone unfamiliar with Starkid's work, they are a theatre group from Michigan who brought us the amazing 'A Very Potter Musical' and 'A Very Potter Sequel'. They are hilarious and I highly recommend that you check out their musical on YouTube. Starship will be their fourth original musical, and is hopefully due to air on YouTube soon.
