It has just been announced on YouTube that Pottermore is an online reading experience with contributions from J.K. Rowling herself and from fans! To find out how to enter Pottermore early, the website will be releasing instructions on the 31st July. J.K. Rowling will be giving us exclusive information about the Harry Potter universe and is also releasing eBooks of the Potter news! J.K. Rowling has tweeted about Pottermore confirming that this is real! To see images of Pottermore, see the press release section of the website.

Only 18 hours left now of the agonising wait between the announcement about Pottermore and the announcement explaining what Pottermore actually IS. Don't forget that the announcement will be broadcast on YouTube at 12 noon in the UK, which is 6am EST. So, work out what time the announcement will be in your time zone, and then the waiting begins... Just think - this time tomorrow, all will have been revealed! If you cannot watch the announcement, please don't worry, as HPN² will give you all the information you'll need.

This time next week, we will know what Pottermore is. A Pottermore YouTube account has been set up, featuring some owls that interact with your cursor. According to the account, the owls are gathering... J.K. Rowling's official announcement will take place on the 23rd June 2011.

MuggleNet and The Leaky Cauldron have just announced that there is an official Pottermore website and Twitter account. There aren't any tweets at the moment, but apparently the next clue will be released there... Any more ideas? Post them in the comments below.

This news has got Harry Potter fans tweeting like crazy! J.K. Rowling has an announcement for all of us, but first we have to find it! In typical Rowling style, fans have to search for the letters on Secret Street View to spell out her announcement, which is apparently not another book. Co-ordinates are being released via fan sites. Updates will come on HPN² as they happen.
According to Hypable, the letters are TEORPETROM. This certainly spells out an interesting announcement! The clues will continue over the 15th and 16th July. For those who don't want to know what this spells out, look away now: MORE POTTER or POTTERMORE! We're hoping that some extremely exciting news is on its way...
